  • Currently the world leader in technology and the dominating side in the war, Ar Siance is the larger of the two supernations in the world. Its massive military utilizes the most extensive and cutting-edge magitechnological advancements in the world due to the nation's dominion in the field.

Ar Siance oversaw the rise of exsphere technology twenty years ago and quickly employed the stones as weapons in the military, and the sudden surge of magitechnological developments that occured in years soon after allowed Ar Siance to achieve a massive lead over its less advanced enemy nation, Ar Titia.

Ar Siance is a traditionally theocratic nation, having worshipped a line of Living Gods since the first God, Nene Giz, was born from a seed of the great tree Implanta almost two thousand years ago, thus blessing the world with manna through His miraculous birth. The current incarnation of the Living God, Kanata, has earned the epithet God of Victory, as his blessing has granted Ar Siance technological and military triumph over their enemies.

    Lonfa Dea Exsphere Manufacturing Plant

The Lonfa Dea plant is the largest exshere manufacturing plant in the world and boasts the largest output of exspheres and high exspheres the world over. It rests on the outskirts of the Ar Sianci capital of Chyet Jue and is owned and operated by the Tomoe family, in particular Tomoe Hiyori. The plant also conducts intense research on exspheres, headed by Narukami Arashi, in order to further develop them as weapons for the ongoing war.

    Dius Meta

A theocratic village nearby Chyet Jue, Dius Meta is fully devoted to their Living God and is heavily involved in maintaining the divinity of the bloodline. Dius Meta is in charge of arranging marriages between people in order to produce heirs, and the village is also tasked with making sure the name of the God is never tarnished or doubted in any way, even so far as to replace the standing gods when the time calls for it.

    Aje Merfa

A small, rural village a ways out from Chyet Jue. Its relative mystery and isolation have garnered it a reputation of being a haven for the denera, where one can achieve true equality with the other inhabitants.

    The Council

The seat of judicial government within Chyet Jue, the Council deals in justice and the law, upholding the values of the state and maintaining order within all of Ar Siance. Though most in-person cases that the Council reviews are within the jurisdiction of Chyet Jue alone, extra-jurisdictional hearings are also held when the defendant is accused of a crime that could affect the whole of the nation. The Council is a largely theocratic assembly, with Kanata and the church he heads standing at the top as the primary arbiter of justice; even cases which are not immediately religious in nature are judged according to religious law, as upheld by both Kanata and Rinne, the chief of Dius Meta.

    Ritual Branding

Though not all powerful houses in Ar Siance participate in ritual branding, many still keep the tradition alive as an important part of maintaining their hierarchy and roles. The primary example of this is the Shinkai line: All those in service to the Living God are branded with a unique emblem that marks their specific role and purpose in life, as well as their eternal service to their God. Branded individuals include everyone in the Shinkai geneology, as well as members of the Church and the citizens of Dius Meta.

Brands are applied to a child at a young age; the branding iron is forged uniquely for the individual, as everyone has a unique role, and it is pressed into their flesh. Often the location of the brand is the chest and neck, but certain specialized roles may have different locations, such as arms, legs, or back. The brand is considered a mark of honor and a source of immense pride, the ritual itself being of a rite of passage for all true believers. The Living God, too, is given a full-body brand that marks their status as God.

The Suou house also participates in a less extensive version of the tradition. As members of the Oukawa branch are to serve a single Suou their entire lives, each child is branded with a mark that delineates their service to their master. The culture surrounding the Suou ritual is slightly different, since it's not treated like a rite of passage, nor is it a voluntary process; the purpose of each Oukawa birth is to serve a Suou master. Rather, the ritual is treated as a "second birth" for the house.
