Ongoing Projects
Before engaging with my work, please read my terms, which are listed both below on this page and on my translation directory. So long as they are respected, my translations will remain publicly available to everyone.
I’m ciel; you might know me as the translator bluefilaments (Twitter) or fortunebanquet (Tumblr). Alas! but this game has pulled me back into its grasp.
As I’ve recently made my home here on Neocities, I decided to reupload all of my old translations, as well as any new ones I work on. Because of the sheer volume of content and because I’m also working on said new translations, this may take some time, especially because I am making light (and occasionally heavy) revisions to most of them to update the quality to more current standards. I have a few stories yet to upload, so please be patient with me while I go through this process!
You can follow my progress through this page, as I will track my own progress as I start and finish translations, and I believe you can also follow this site through the Neocities platform itself for more directed updates. I don’t use Twitter anymore and likely will not make update posts regularly or at all—and my account will remain locked, as well. If there is demand for it, I may use my Enstars-focused Tumblr to make infrequent updates, but currently I have no plans for that either.
My Terms
- Please do not repost my work, with or without credit.
- Please do not put my translations on any public masterlist. You may keep them on private lists and share them among small groups.
- Feel free to screenshot or otherwise quote/reference my work for the purposes of transformative and derivative work, such as fanworks or metas.
- You may use my work to create a second-language translation; however, take caution that my work is heavily localized and not always proofread for accuracy.
- Many of the stories here are not proofread by a second person for accuracy; if you spot an error, please let me know. If you are interested in proofreading (JP or EN) any of my translations, existing or future, please contact me via DMs.
- Credit for my work is appreciated.

As you’ll likely see, I have a bias toward 2wink, but I like all of the characters! I’m currently working through a somewhat lengthy “wish list” of translation projects, some of which you can sneak a peek at below. My primary focus is and will always be on Akira’s stories, and within the scope of his stories I have a strong bias toward ! Era.
I am translating just to have some fun, mostly, because I enjoy working with these characters. As such, I pick my projects based on whatever I want to do, without any other regard. Because I’m just having fun, you’ll notice that my work is heavily localized and stylized based on how I interpret the characters. I hope you will enjoy my fun little spin on the story content as a result of this!

Recently Finished Projects
Since I was last active in the fandom, I have worked on and completed several stories. Those listed above are the ones I have completed since the last time I was active in the fandom. Exempting my current projects, the stories I have started but not yet finished are: Easter, Butlers, Princess Kaguya (collab), and A Spring Evening’s Respite (collab). I have intentions to see these through, but they are not my current priority. Please stay on the lookout for them!
With regards to the New Year’s collections, I have also recently translated several stories across them. From First Dreams, I have completed in peace; from First Dreams 2, I have completed I’m the Queen; from Zodiac, I have completed dragon fruit; and from Zodiac 2, I have completed Rooster. I plan to finish translating this whole collection, but again this is not my priority at the time.
Wish List
My “wish list” is a collection of stories I have interest in translating. The list below is a sneak peek of what is on that list. This list may change over time as my priorities shift and I make concessions, but with luck you will see these stories from me sooner rather than later. Please keep in mind that this is not the entire list I have built, so the stories I work on next may not be what is shown here.
