Guy: I’m finished investigating the strange things happening in this town, and I reported my findings to the townspeople.
Jade: Thank you, that helped me out. I had some minor business to take care of, so I’m happy that we were able to divide and conquer, so to speak.
Guy: Minor business, huh...
Oh, that reminds me. I heard a weird story just a bit ago...
Jade: I’m not sure I want to delve too deeply into that... but go ahead.
Guy: ...Supposedly, a guy with a big personality’s shown up in town. He talks nonstop and calls himself “The Rose.”
Jade: Oh, my, is that so...
Guy: I haven’t seen him myself, but if this is true, you’d better get out of here before he sees—
Dist: I found you, Jade!!!
Guy: ...Haha, guess I was too late.
Dist: I never dreamed that I’d find you here, of all places! I had no idea you were so eager to see the esteemed Dist!
Jade: Well, I suppose that makes sense. I had no idea, either.
Guy: That sure is some smile you have, there...
Dist: Allow me to impart some wonderful news upon you!
Jade: No, thank you.
Dist: There will soon be an exhibit of ice sculptures created using my techniques!
Guy: You’re just gonna keep going, after that response...?
Dist: And among those ice sculptures, believe it or not! There will be one crafted in the likeness of yours truly, Dist the Rose!
It was just completed this morning, Jade, but as a special treat, I’ll give you a private viewing right now!
Jade: Oh, really? What an honor... Now, it wouldn’t happen to be the very sculpture that’s located at the entrance to the town, would it?
Dist: Ohoho, I see, I see! You were so eager to see it that you’ve already found it!
Jade: No, I saw some structure falling down while I was out and about. It vaguely resembled you.
Dist: Wh–what?! Falling down...?!
Jade: Indeed. It seemed as if the pedestal had broken, so perhaps there were some issues with its construction.
Dist: How could this be?! That sculpture of me is supposed to be the focal point of the festival! And it’s just about to begin, too!
I can’t just stand here; I must go fix it!
Jade: Well, then... that takes care of that problem. Now that I’ve finished my errands, shall we head back?
Guy: That “minor business” you were talking about... was it...?
Jade: One can never tell what will happen when it comes to nature, don’t you think? It’s just so unfortunate when accidents happen.
Guy: Haha... yeah, sure. Well, I guess this is business as usual—the world is at peace.
