Keito: Excuse me.
Souma: Ah, Hasumi-dono! Thou art here at last! We ha’ awaited thee ♪
Keito: Sorry. Between Flower Fest, the S1, and every other Dream Fest big and small, I’ve been unbelievably busy.
I feel bad that I haven’t been able to come to practice.
Souma: No apology necessary. Nay, I am afeard thou work’st too hard and too oft, that thine health may deteriorate... Thy brow is pale: art well?
Th’art rather fragile compared to us.
Keito: Compared to you two, everyone in the world is “fragile.”
Don’t worry about it; I’m taking care of myself. I get the minimum amount of food and sleep required, and I’m still young enough to bounce back from overexertion.
But actually, Kanzaki, I wanted to ask... you’re pretty much soaking wet. What happened here? Is that Sweat? Or did you go for a soak like that club president of yours?
Souma: Nay, nay, I have no such hobbies as he. There are times I would attempt to copy him, but I could bear not to see my sword rusted.
And ‘tis marvelous time-consuming to apply oil to it each time.
Keito: Don’t copy him. I don’t approve of you getting too involved with any of the Five... well, the Three Oddballs, now.
Though I’d rather not meddle in anyone’s personal life wherever I can help it.
Anyway, why are you all wet? Was there a rain shower at some point? I must have missed it while I was working.
Souma: Nay. I ha’ been indoors all day; e’en had it rained, I would stay dry.
Lo, this is sweat. It appears my metabolism is healthy! Belike this is ‘cause I’ve been dancing nonstop?
Keito: Nonstop...? Wait, how long have you been practicing?
Souma: Hum? Umm, six hours, or thereabouts. Kiryuu-dono told me to “keep dancing,” so...
But ne’er did he tell me to stop!
Alas! that I lost my sense of time, for to “take a break” ♪
Keito: You’re so... I can’t lecture you about being honest to a fault; it’s not a crime.
But now I know that whatever I say to you just goes in one ear then out the other.
Souma: But I always listen to thee, Hasumi-dono.
Keito: That’s all you do; you could put some effort into thinking for yourself once in a while, too...
There’s no point lecturing you about this. You’re incorrigible. Still, overworking yourself is just a recipe for disaster, so make sure you’re taking breaks.
Souma: I shall commit it to heart! But this is hardly effort to me. I could continue to dance at this rate for three days and three nights with no rest at all.
Keito: What are you, a monster? Anyway, practice is over for today, Kanzaki. The last train is about to leave, so make sure you get home so you’re ready for tomorrow.
Souma: Hm? But if there is no train, I shall simply call for a horse to ride home?
Keito: You could at least choose a more modern method of transportation. What era do you even come from?
Whatever. What about Kiryuu? Did he go home already?
Souma: Ay. We wished not that the transfer student arrived home late... so Kiryuu-dono escorted the lady home.
And from there, he spake intent to return to his own house.
Keito: Ah, that was a good call. So our transfer student is putting in some effort, then; I’ll have Kiryuu give me the details last night.
Do you have any idea what those guys in fine are up to?
Souma: Yes. They visited the practice room once, but as Akatsuki and “fine” are not to do the same performance...
They moved whereout, to another place, because we distracted them.
They were three of them. The room is too small for all to practice.
Keito: Three of them? Are you saying Hibiki was actually doing stuff with them?
Souma: Hibiki... Ah! the gentleman with the beautiful hair?
He was indeed! He possesseth great ability. I so admire him ♪
Keito: Hm... I thought for sure that guy had no interest in participating in fine’s activities. What the hell changed?
I need to check this out. Sorry, Kanzaki...
You clean up the practice room and get on home. This place is covered in sweat, so it needs to be cleaned.
Tomorrow I’ll try to find as much time as I can spare to come to practice, too. At the very least I want us to get in lock-step before our performance.
Souma: Understood. Kiryuu-dono said that our costumes shall be finished in but a few days, as well.
Once we have our costumes fitted, we will be able to overcome all obstacles and face this Flower Festival ♪
Keito: Hm. Kiryuu’s taking a lot longer with the costumes this time, don’t you think?
I wonder if he’s doing something unnecessary with them... Well, as long as it’s ready in time for Flower Fest, there’s no problem.
Anyway, I’ll see you tomorrow, Kanzaki.
Souma: Ay! Tomorrow you shall~ Take heed on your route homeward, Hasumi-dono ♪
