Celestial Rendezvous 2

Nazuna: (Wh–what do we do now...?)

(We just got the ball rolling with Ra*bits.)

(I feel like we could grow explosively if we perform a bunch more here at the Tanabata Festival.)

(And everybody else is motivated, too. Akatsuki was nice enough to give us their spot on the stage, so I want to match their feelings.)

(But the risk is just too high. What’s with the atmosphere around Tenshouin, anyway...?)

(It’s like we’re back in the days of the Unit War. He’s completely serious, like he’s out to destroy us.)

(If we go into this thinking we can get away unscathed just because we go to the same school, we’ll get eaten alive.)

(Akatsuki wasn’t exactly holding back, either, but compared to Tenshouin—compared to fine, they didn’t seem out for blood quite as much.)

(They let us stand next to them, and they respected us.)

(But Tenshouin is different. He’s planning to kick us to the wayside like little pebbles.)

(We’ve been trampled on like weeds so many times; our growth has come from crying over all our failures.)

(But if they turn on us with weed killer, we’ll wither and die for good. There won’t be a springtime for us.)

(No. No way. I’ve gathered up every single seed of hope I could from the darkest of depths—)

(And I’ve finally brought them this far. I refuse to let them be devoured like appetizers and come to an end here.)

Uh, yeah, going round after round is pretty rough... We might just have to take a break from the stage~ ♪

Eichi: You don’t earnestly believe you can escape, do you, Nito-kun?

Yumenosaki Academy is my castle. It’s all too easy to block the escape route for the little bunnies who had the misfortune to wander inside. Fufu, it’s time for the feast ♪

Nazuna: (...?! Wow, of course; that’s just the kind of person you are, Tenshouin!)

(You have student council members positioned exactly right to make sure we have no way out!)

(But still, it’s just a live showdown; nobody’s getting killed for real. It should be fine, but I’m still scared.)

(Even if we make it out alive, we might end up in a situation where we’d wish we were dead.)

(What do we do now? What can we do? Think, think! I have to protect my happy place from being destroyed! I refuse to let this tragedy happen all over again...!)

Mika: Hang on a seeeec!

Nazuna: ...?!

Mika: ‘Scuse me, pardon me, comin’ through! C’moooon, Oshi-san, how long you gonna fuss with that costume?

Things’re lookin’ even worse than we thought they’d be!

Shu: Don’t pull on me, Kagehira. Ugh, this crowd is making me nauseous...?

Why have all these people gathered here in droves? Do they have that much free time? Hmph, what unproductive wastrels they all are!

Nazuna: Oshi-sa—Itsuki! Kagehira! Valkyrie?!

Wh–whadd’re you doin’ here?! That costume’s... I’ve never seen it before. No way, is Valkyrie performing in the Tanabata Festival?!

Shu: What gives you the right to speak to me, traitor? By the looks of things, it seems that some sort of worthless, soulless drama is unfolding here?

Ah, how deplorable! Art is dead...!

Eichi: Wow, you’re awfully late. I was getting tired of waiting, honestly, so I thought I could kill time by cutting up some innocent rabbits for fun.

But it seems that will no longer be necessary.

Valkyrie. You will be fine’s opponents during this second battle at the Tanabata Festival... is that okay with you?

Nazuna: H–hang on a second! Quit doing things without anyone else’s input!

(Valkyrie showed up with such perfect timing it’s almost like they were trying to help us... For a moment there, I was actually touched.)

(But there’s just no way Itsuki and Kagehira can perform in front of a crowd this big!)

(They’re up against fine, and they’ve barely ever participated in a Dream Fest before to begin with. They don’t have enough experience for this!)

(It’ll be a public execution! Itsuki is too prideful; if he’s humiliated like that, he’ll never recover!)

(Even now, I can tell he’s just barely holding himself together!)

Shu: You’re thinking about something quite rude, aren’t you Nito? I understand you; you are my own handiwork, and my magnum opus!

But your concerns are unnecessary. Ah, how irritating!

Preposterous, that a mere doll should worry about a human being!

And do not mistake me, either: I did not come here to rescue you, all right?!

Nazuna: Uh, right. I know that; we don’t have that kind of relationship, after all ♪

Shu: Th–that’s correct! Anyway, this grand stage is hardly suitable for little brats like you who haven’t even hair on their heads!

You ought to yield the stage to us, the true victors: Valkyrie!

Know your place! That goes not just for Ra*bits, but for fine—your lot, as well!

In our absence, you got rather cocky and began lording over everyone!

Mais non! Your castle is built upon sand; today it will vanish, never to return!

Eichi: It feels as though you’ve hit your limits... It’s somewhat charming, Itsuki-kun.

This is a development I could only have dreamed of. I’ve been waiting for the day when I could get a taste of you all over again ♪

Tori, Yuzuru, come here. I’ll save you some pieces of Valkyrie, so I’ll give them to you to chew on and think over.
