Having become acquainted with each other while working as child models, their relationship goes way back. They have a peculiar relationship: Izumi treats Makoto with kindness and tenacious fixation, which confuses and bewilders Makoto. However, they seem to have a deep understanding of each other.

Q: If Makoto and Izumi were to go out, where do you think they’d go?

Morikubo: I guess you can call this “going out,” but how about a photoshoot where Izumi just followed along after Makoto?

Itou: Izumi would go as the photographer, right? The cherry blossoms in the area are so pretty, so he’d take pictures of Yuu-kun with the blossoms.

Morikubo: Maybe they could go on a boat ride or something?

Itou: Oh, that’s bad. Being trapped on a boat together? That’s bad.

Morikubo: I’m sure he’d do whatever he could to get the two of them alone together (lol).
