During my re-rewatch of Supernatural (seasons 1–5 only) I began to take extensive notes to hopefully better my understanding of the characters, the themes, and the plot (for gay incest porn purposes, of course). My friend convinced me to upload these notes here so that she could read them, and in doing so I’ve made them available to anyone else who may be interested in my thoughts on the show.
Please be aware that I simply took these notes as I was watching each episode, and that as a result they may come off as either disjointed or lacking in professionalism; they were not originally intended for anyone’s eyes but my own. All thoughts and analysis on the show are my own; I do not purport it to be an encompassing understanding of Supernatural, and there are many elements of the show I overlooked because my focus lies elsewhere (namely, in examining the opposing roles fate and family have in relation to the plot) (and the incest).
